Robin Schachter concentrates on executive compensation, employee benefits, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), tax-exempt organizations and related federal tax matters.
He represents public and private companies, individual executives and management teams on the negotiation and design of employment and compensation arrangements; designs and implements qualified retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation, incentive compensation, equity and other executive compensation arrangements; and advises on various welfare, fringe benefit and health plan matters.
Robin consults on tax and ERISA compliance requirements, including tax-qualification requirements, unrelated business income taxes, fiduciary responsibility, continuation coverage (COBRA) and Affordable Care Act rules applicable to group health plans. He has experience with employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) design and compliance matters for both C and S corporations.
